Trish Pekeles joined UBC as Director, Financial Operations

​We are pleased to announce that Trish Pekeles joined UBC as Director, Financial Operations on June 1. After a two-month search and extensive interviews and meetings with the search committee, Trish is the successful candidate and we are very fortunate to have her join Financial Operations.  

Trish brings with her over 20 years of strategic leadership in finance, both in the public and private sectors coupled with experience across all core business functions and operations, including financial management and reporting, strategic planning, procurement and contract negotiation. Trish joins UBC after working at BC Hydro for a number of years, where she held several financial leadership roles, ranging from Executive Director Procurement, Interim CFO, Chief Strategy Officer and most recently, Director Finance Generation, Technology, Power Smart and Partnerships.
