The Indigenous Business Directory of UBC is now available

Friday, January 26, 2024

The Indigenous Business Directory of UBC was developed in response to community feedback requesting support in locating and identifying Indigenous businesses to consider when making purchasing decisions. The directory is a centralized resource to empower university faculty and staff to identify businesses that align with their procurement needs, and foster proactive engagement with the Indigenous business community.

The directory can help increase supplier diversity opportunities for Indigenous businesses and improve inclusion of Indigenous suppliers in upcoming work at UBC. It was developed with the awareness of Office Indigenous Strategic Initiatives, the Residential School History and Dialogue Centre, CTLT Indigenous Initiatives team, and the UBC Okanagan Indigenous Engagement team.
