Matheus Thom Vasconcelos joins Treasury as Senior Treasury Analyst

We are pleased to welcome Matheus Thom Vasconcelos as the new Senior Treasury Analyst effective June 5, 2023, reporting to Raffaela Mendel, Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. 

In his new position, Matheus will assist the team in delivering analytical support for strategic initiatives across campus as well as supporting UBC’s cash forecasting and liquidity analysis.

Matheus joins us from Club Versante Management where he held the position of Financial Assistant. Prior to this, Matheus worked as an FP&A analyst at Cimento Nacional, a renowned cement producer in Brazil, providing comprehensive financial analyses to support strategic decisions involving financial liquidity, capital financing, corporate borrowing and cash management.

Born and raised in Brazil, Matheus holds an MBA from University Canada West in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidade de Pernambuco.

Outside of work, Matheus likes to spend time outdoors, get together with his friends and barbeque.
