Inactivation of 'Installation Services | Over $5000' spend category

As of January 24, 2024, Capital Financial Management & Reporting has discontinued the use of the ‘Installation Services | Over $5000’ spend category. As an alternative, please use the following guidance for spend category selection:

1. Capital purchases: installation costs should use the same capital spend category as the capital asset purchased.
2. Non-capital purchases: installation costs should use the same expense spend category associated with the purchase being completed.
