Carolyn Arthur joins Financial Services & Strategic Procurement as Procurement Programs Manager

Carolyn brings with her over a decade of experience in procurement and sourcing, specifically in Indigenous procurement. She will be leading the development of UBC's approach to procurement projects including Indigenous, inclusive, and environmentally sustainable procurement, alongside other strategic procurement projects. 

Carolyn is joining UBC from Procurement Assistance Canada – Public Services and Procurement Canada, where she served as Senior Inclusive Business Advisor and Acting Regional Director. Her extensive background in leading complex procurement projects and building relationships with equity-seeking business groups will greatly benefit UBC.  

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto and has leadership experience in the public sector.
