Nicole Wendt joins the Financial Planning and Analysis team as Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis

We're thrilled to introduce Nicole Wendt, our new Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, who will be joining the FP&A team within the Office of the Comptroller on May 6th, 2024.

Nicole brings a wealth of experience and over eight years as a dedicated CPA specializing in accounting and auditing. Previously, Nicole served as the Senior Project Accountant for the Integrated Renewal Program at UBC from 2018 to 2021. During a temporary relocation to Norway, Nicole pursued and completed a Master of Science in Economics. Additionally, Nicole has contributed her expertise as an Auditor with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada from 2014 to 2018.

Nicole will be joining us from her role as the Manager of Financial Reporting and Analysis at BC Housing, where she has gained valuable experience collaborating with the Ministry of Housing and Treasury Board on major project statuses and contingency requests. Her responsibilities have included close collaboration with various business units, such as project development and operations teams, to ensure comprehensive analysis by considering all pertinent information, including underlying contexts and circumstances surrounding financial matters.

During her free time, she enjoys the great outdoors as an avid hiker and traveling the world!
