New Appointments on the Treasury Team

UBC’s Treasury team is pleased to welcome Otto Wong into his new role as the Manager, Cash, and Olivia Wong to her new role of Financial Analyst. Otto and Olivia are stepping into these positions for 12 months to provide key support while other members of the Treasury have been seconded to UBC’s Integrated Renewal Program.

Otto holds a BA and MA from Simon Fraser University, and has many years of experience in all aspects of Treasury, both locally and internationally. Since joining UBC in 2016 as a Financial Analyst for the Cash department his efforts have had significant impact on the university’s cash forecasting, and he has played an essential role in key projects including sanctioned countries.

Olivia received her BA from UBC and she holds a master’s degree in financial management from Macquarie University in Australia. She joined the university’s treasury team in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant, and has provided great value through her ability to streamline processes and manage important projects.
