Faculty and Staff Tax Slips for the 2020 Tax Year – Update

UBC issues tax slips online as PDFs that are identical to the printed form and are accepted to by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) when filing your taxes.
This year, T4 tax slips (and T4As, where applicable) will be made available for faculty and staff through the Workday system before the end of February, in line with Canadian tax legislation.
More information will be shared when the tax slips are available, but in the meantime a knowledge base article has been created in the UBC Self-Service Portal to support the community with locating their tax slips in Workday. This article also includes information on options and instructions for printed copies:
Paper copies of T4s will be mailed to employees that left UBC between January 1, 2020 and October 31, 2020. These employees will also be able to access their tax slips in Workday using their CWL account. Employees that left the university between November 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020 will also be able to access their tax slips through Workday using their CWL account.

Tax slips from previous tax years can still be accessed through Peoplesoft. Anyone experiencing issues with accessing their tax slips can contact the ISC directly for assistance.
