Continuing to support our community through training

Last year UBC Financial Operations launched two virtual, instructor-led training sessions to better support the community with their day-to-day work.

Through gathering feedback from working groups, surveys and Workday support requests, UBC Financial Operations identified the two topics that impact the larger community: expense reimbursement and the UBC Visa Credit Card Program.

These training courses support our community in performing specific tasks at work by providing foundational knowledge that supplements Workday resources, such as Knowledge Base articles and ISC Workday training. Find more information about our offerings on the Training page.

The first training session held in September had 235 participants and a resounding 99% positive feedback. Most participants enjoyed the interactive format and were able to advance their knowledge and think differently about how they work.

In the coming months, we will continue to offer new courses and sessions as well as improve existing offerings based on the community’s feedback.
