Vendor Information Changes

To prevent instances of fraud, UBC requires a vendor to follow the below guidelines when making a request to update their legal name or banking information.

Legal Name and Address Changes

For non-banking information changes, please access the Vendor Set Up form and indicate "Legal Name and Address Updates." Follow the instructions on the form, and in a submission email from the payee directly, attach the following documentation so that we can validate authenticity of the request:

  • Individual Person – birth certificate, certificate of marriage, etc.
  • Business – CRA registration, Official Memo, etc.

Submit any change requests for a vendor's legal name and address details directly to the vendor's UBC contact.

Banking Information

If you require an update to banking details, please access UBC’s standalone Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Automated Clearing House (ACH) form, available to Canadian and US vendors respectively, and follow the instructions on the form for submission.
