Payments

You can pay the Services Levy by cheque, money order, or online from selected Canadian banking institutions

Services Levy notices are mailed out in mid-June to early July annually. After the due date, interest will be charged on unpaid notices on a monthly basis at the Royal Bank Prime Rate plus 6% per annum.

Cheque or Money Order

  • Make cheques and money orders payable to the “University of British Columbia”.
  • Post-dated cheques are accepted.
  • Please include your customer number as shown on your Services Levy invoice on the front of your cheque and put your payment together with the remittance stub.

Online Bill Payment

Make a bill payment from your Canadian online bank account by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your Canadian online bank account and select the payment function.
  2. Search for “UBC Services Levy” and select it as a new payee.
  3. Enter your customer number as shown on your Services Levy invoice as the account number, but do not include the “CST-“.
  4. Please allow three to five business days for processing.

  • TD Canada Trust
  • all Credit Unions in British Columbia
