UBC IMANT Releases Inaugural 2021 Responsible Investing Report

UBC Investment Management Trust (UBC IMANT) has created and shared its inaugural 2021 Responsible Investing Report.

Working with key stakeholders, UBC IMANT has worked to develop and advance a comprehensive Responsible Investment Strategy to inform their work and decision-making as well as look to embed environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations and principles within their investment framework. Since the strategy was first approved, UBC IMANT remains on track in meeting the Strategy’s stated deliverables and has made particular progress on climate risk monitoring and carbon reduction. 

The Responsible Investing Report outlines the details of that strategy and highlights UBC IMANT’s progress in 2021 working on behalf of the funds they manage. This report will be released on an annual basis, in keeping with their commitment to transparency and reporting about their investment strategies and performance.
