UBC Renews Agreement with Scientific Supplies Vendor VWR International

UBC has extended an agreement with VWR International to serve as the university's preferred supplier of scientific supplies and minor lab equipment until the end of 2021.

The agreement helps to ensure that students and faculty across UBC benefit from access to top quality science equipment, while also delivering significant cost savings for the university. A VWR punch-out catalogue will also be developed to integrate with Workday following the deployment of that system in April 2020.

Existing users of VWR will experience no change in services and continue to benefit from a wide range of competitively priced products, ranging from chemicals to lab furniture. A core list of UBC’s high use items can be accessed on the VWR vendor page.
