Streamlining our Payroll Portfolios

As the university prepares for the transition to Workday next week, the Payroll team is streamlining how it supports the community.

To align the department structure with Workday system changes, our payroll representatives will now be managing portfolios based on faculties and administrative units (previously, payroll representatives were assigned portfolios based on employee type). This change will be effective November 2, to align with Workday go-live.

The change will create a better user experience for the UBC community by offering a single point of contact in payroll for administrators. 

The updated list of payroll contacts is now available on the Finance website.
