Rebecca Way joins UBCO Financial Operations as Procurement Manager

We are pleased to welcome Rebecca Way as UBC Okanagan’s new Procurement Manager, effective February 7, 2022.

Prior to joining UBC, Rebecca was a Procurement Manager at Keyano College in Alberta, where she provided strategic planning and leadership, as well as developed and implemented comprehensive policies and procedures for the organization.

Reporting to Fiona Stirling, Senior Manager, Finance Operations, Rebecca will be responsible for leading the local procurement team in the delivery of procurement services to the Okanagan campus, as well as actively engaging the campus community to increase understanding of procurement policies and workflows, implement best practices, and increase adoption of procurement processes.

Rebecca holds a Certificate in Business Administration and is working towards a Bachelor of Management and a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation.
