New Senior Manager, Financial Systems

We are pleased to announce that Lisa Rockford will be joining Financial Operations as the new Senior Manager, Financial Systems, effective January 3rd, 2017. She will be reporting directly to Trish Pekeles.
 
Lisa’s career focus has been on ERP Financials and HRMS for both the public and private sectors and she has over 20 years of experience working on complex projects, strategic initiatives and relationship building. She worked at the Chicago Park District implementing Oracle e-Business Suite Financials and HRMS. She was also the Lead Solutions Architect for the Oracle Financials implementation at Walgreens in the US. Most recently, she comes to us from Best Buy Canada as their Senior IT Manager. Lisa possesses a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and an MBA from the University of Illinois.
 
Lisa is excited to start work at UBC and will be a great asset to the University and to the Financial Operations team!
