Ian Robinson Joins Treasury as Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

UBC is pleased to welcome Ian Robinson to the Treasury team as the new Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis.

Ian joined the university on August 27 and will continue the work done by Sarah Goold in building and refining the university’s long-term financial model, along with providing analytical support for other strategic initiatives across campus.
 
Ian comes to the university from ICBC, where he served as the Manager of Operations Resource Planning and Optimization, making a significant contribution towards actualizing integrated operational workforce planning for the organization. His experience with ICBC also included positions pertaining to traditional accounting, reporting and analytics, budget planning and analysis, and financial forecasting and modelling.
 
On a personal level Ian enjoys his spare time with his young family, travelling to a variety of places, and catching sporting events where possible. Ian is a designated CPA, CGA and holds a MBA from Laurentian University, Ontario.
