Hyperion 2.0 is now live

Tuesday, December 01, 2020

The new instance of Hyperion — the planning system UBC uses to produce Quarterly Operating Reports and the Future Year Budget — is now live in read only mode, with data to the end of September.

Much like the journey to Workday at UBC, the development of Hyperion 2.0 (PlanUBC) has required significant coordination between numerous teams over several years, including the UBC Vancouver and Okanagan Budget Offices, the Application Ecosystem Program (AEP) project team, and the Integrated Renewal Program (IRP) team. Thank you to all for the dedication, collaboration, and effort that made this transition possible.

We hope that Hyperion users will enjoy this upgrade to Hyperion 2.0 (PlanUBC), which incorporates the new Foundation Data Model (FDM), enabling UBC to continue an effective budgeting and forecasting process alongside Workday.

For more information on how to access to Hyperion 2.0 (PlanUBC) and links to resources, please visit the Hyperion 2.0 section. Please be advised that read only access to Hyperion 1.0 (UBCPlan) is also still available.
