Growing With Our Success

Since 2016 UBC’s Financial Operations team has worked hard to bring about positive change for the university through the Procurement Modernization Project. As part of this work we have developed a new Service Delivery Model approach to how we deliver procurement and payment services to the campus community. This initiative has resulted in the addition of new positions to our unit, like buyers and procurement partners, as well as the welcoming of some financial staff onto our central team from faculties and administrative units across the university.

As a result of this growth we’re pleased to share that Financial Operations is outfitting a new satellite location in Wesbrook Village that will accommodate our expanding Accounts Payable team. Approximately 40 staff will be based at the new location, at 5958 Webber Lane. Our services to the UBC community will not be interrupted and our processes will remain the same, but we’re excited to be able to accommodate our growing talented team at the new facilty.
