Closure During the Holiday Season

Financial Operations at UBC (including Payroll and Benefits) will observe the following closures during the holiday season:

  • Closing at 12:00 pm on Monday, December 24, 2018
  • Reopening at 8:30 am on Wednesday, January 2, 2019

Payment of earnings at UBC via Direct Deposit is a mandatory condition of employment, and your earnings will be deposited into your bank account without interruption over the holiday season. 

If you have not yet set up a Direct Deposit for your payroll you will be able to collect your payroll cheque at Financial Operations (5th Floor TEF3, 6190 Agronomy Road) when the office reopens on January 2nd. Please be sure to set up your Direct Deposit at your earliest convenience. Please contact Payroll in the new year if you have any questions.
