Christine Lin joins UBC as Tax Analyst

We are pleased to welcome Christine Lin as Tax Analyst, reporting to Holly Shepherd, Tax Manager effective May 16, 2022.

Christine is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in corporate and indirect tax within the oil and gas industry.

Christine joins us from Equinor Canada Ltd, where she was the senior tax analyst. While there, she administered and managed direct and indirect taxes, served as a subject matter expert for tax queries, as well as ensured that all returns were filed on time and in adherence to rules and regulations. Prior to Equinor, Christine worked for Suncor Energy as a commodity tax analyst, preparing monthly GST/HST, BC PST, motor fuel tax and BC carbon tax filings.

Christine holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University. She recently moved to Vancouver from Calgary, and enjoys walking, hiking, and travelling in her free time.
