Bill Liu promoted to Procurement Officer in UBC Financial Operations

Bill Liu will be promoted to the role of Procurement Officer in UBC’s Financial Operations, effective November 17, 2021. In his new role, Bill will play a key role in leading and completing RFx processes for purchases above $75K. The role is integral to the success of the Procurement Sourcing team by ensuring best procurement practices are being followed.

Throughout the transition to Workday, Bill had been instrumental in supporting the Procurement Services team. Among his achievements, he is a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) and brings a wealth of public procurement experiences to the Procurement Sourcing team. Bill will be working to ensure that the Faculty of Science continues to receive a high level of support while he transitions into his new role.
